An easier way to record your CPD

From a recent survey of 500 Financial Advisors on Continuous Professional Development (CPD) when presented with a scale of 1-10 where 1 is extremely painful and 10 is the peak of enjoyment, a staggering 84% of respondents were 3 or below on the ‘CPD completion’ satisfaction scale. Bottom line, CPD is seen as a chore rather than an important requirement.

Further to this, 69% of those respondents reported that they would find themselves rushing to complete their CPD last minute and usually just before their statement of professional standing (SPS) renewal date.

But why is this the case?

CPD is something we all have to do, 35 hours of it to be exact with 21 of those having to be structured learning unless you are lucky enough to be a Pension Transfer Specialist (PTS) and you get to add another 15 hours to that total taking your annual requirement to 50 hours.

Each year we need to find CPD that works for us from multiple sources, we need to watch it, attend it, record it, reflect on it, and evidence it to the regulator.

Imagine a world where you could go to one place, access all the CPD content you ever needed and that CPD automatically recorded to a reporting tool to seamlessly report on your activities in real time.

If only this were possible I hear you say…

Let me introduce you to AdvanceCPD, a one stop shop of CPD across multiple categories that records in real time into an intuitive, easy to use reporting tool for you.
