AF1 Revision Workshop
The AF1 exam (Personal Tax and Trust planning) forms part of the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning and upon successful completion will give you 30 credits at advanced level and take you a step closer to Chartered Financial Planner. The exam is based on 7 study modules (plus 2 optional modules) with varying emphasis given to each section.

In this workshop we take a deep dive into the main calculations to ensure you are comfortable in navigating these – we’ll also look at the common mistakes that the examiners tell us people make. In addition to this, we’ll pull out the core information on trusts to ensure you understand how this information is tested and the impact a solid understanding can make on your result.

- Review key learning points from the syllabus
- Practice and debrief examination questions
- Assess what the examiner is looking for
- Share guidance on making the most out of your study time
- Build an approach to the examination that allows you to do yourself justice on the day
